Key Responsibilities:
Problematic
Many nightly test failures are not real product bugs (locator change, slow page, popup, used data, env down)
Each failure is replayed and triaged by hand, so real bugs are reported late
Key tasks
Build an AI agent that replays failed test steps on the app, by label and role, not broken locators
Turn vague expected results into concrete checks (UI, network, console, DB)
Classify each failure: real bug, script, environment, data, flaky; draft bugs in Azure DevOps
Enforce safety: test env only, action allow-list, step budget, auditable trace
Success criteria
Verdict accuracy ≥ 80% vs QA decisions; zero actions outside allowed scope
Less triage time per failure; false failures closed with no manual replay
Candidate Profile Requirements
Final-year engineering student (software / AI / data)
Python, LLM APIs, prompt and agent design
Plus: Playwright or Selenium, Azure DevOps API
Curious, research-minded, comfortable with uncertain outputs
